  • 2 cups Spaghetti sauce

Cheeses

  • 1 cup Ricotta cheese
  • 4 oz Cream cheese
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded Can mix with other cheeses like cheddar or gouda.

Meat and Herbs

  • 1 lb Ground meat (beef or turkey) Can use meat substitute for a vegetarian option.
  • 1 tbsp Fresh herbs (like basil and oregano), chopped Customize with parsley or thyme for extra flavor.

Seasoning

  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper

Preparation

  • Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, cream cheese, chopped herbs, salt, and pepper.

Cooking

  • In a skillet, cook the ground meat until browned, then add spaghetti sauce and simmer.
  • In a greased pie dish, layer cooked spaghetti, then spread the cream cheese mixture over it.
  • Add the meat sauce on top and finish with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

Serve warm, cutting it into wedges like a pie. Pairs well with a fresh salad or garlic bread. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Can be frozen before baking for up to 3 months.
