  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Wash and cut the potatoes into thin strips to make fries.
  • In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Baking

  • Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
  • Serve alongside your favorite smash burger.

Notes

For extra crunch, soak the cut fries in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking. You can experiment with different seasonings like cayenne pepper or Italian herbs to customize the flavor. To reheat, spread them out on a baking sheet and heat in an oven at 350°F (175°C) until crispy again.
