  • 4 cups watermelon, cubed
  • 2 cups brewed tea (black or green)
  • ΒΌ cup honey or sugar (optional, to taste) Use honey for a natural sweetener or sugar for a vegan option.
  • 1 large lime, juiced

Preparation

  • In a blender, puree the cubed watermelon until smooth.
  • Strain the watermelon puree through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove the pulp.

Mixing

  • In the pitcher, combine the watermelon juice, brewed tea, honey (if using), and lime juice.
  • Mix well and taste; adjust sweetness if desired.

Serving

  • Serve over ice, garnished with mint leaves.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store the Watermelon Tea Cooler in the refrigerator for up to 2 days in a sealed container. Stir before serving again as ingredients may settle. For an extra chill, freeze some watermelon cubes to use as ice instead of regular ice cubes.
