Ingredients
  

For the marinade

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice Freshly squeezed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated

Main ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • Fresh to taste cilantro for garnish
  • Cooked for serving rice

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, garlic, brown sugar, and ginger to create a marinade.
  • Add sliced chicken to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add marinated chicken and cook until browned.
  • Add bell pepper and broccoli to the pan and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

Serving

  • Serve over cooked rice and garnish with fresh cilantro.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add sliced red chilies or a teaspoon of chili paste to the marinade. You can easily make this a vegetarian dish by replacing the chicken with tofu or tempeh.
