  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits (16.3 oz) Can substitute with homemade biscuit dough or puff pastry.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Sprinkle on top before final baking.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, frozen mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  • Tear the biscuits into quarters and sprinkle them evenly over the chicken mixture.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the casserole is bubbling.
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
