Notes

These muffins are best served warm. You can enjoy them as they are, or spread a little butter on top for an extra treat. They also pair wonderfully with a cup of coffee or tea. Store any leftover muffins in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days. If you want to keep them fresh longer, you can freeze them in a freezer-safe bag. Just thaw them at room temperature when you’re ready to enjoy them. Don't overmix the batter to keep the muffins light and fluffy. If you like nuts, consider adding chopped walnuts or pecans for added crunch.
