Main ingredients

  • 3 pieces flour tortillas For the base of the pizza.
  • 1 pound ground beef Cooked and seasoned.
  • 1 packet taco seasoning Follow package instructions for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup refried beans Spread on the tortillas.
  • 1 cup salsa Use your favorite brand for flavor.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar or a Mexican blend works best.
  • 2 tablespoons sliced jalapeños Optional for added heat.
  • ½ cup chopped tomatoes Freshly chopped for topping.
  • ¼ cup sour cream For drizzling on top.
  • Chopped green onions For garnish.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add taco seasoning and follow packet instructions.
  • Spread refried beans on each tortilla.
  • Layer seasoned beef, salsa, and cheese on top of the tortillas.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from oven and top with jalapeños, tomatoes, sour cream, and green onions.
  • Slice and serve while hot!

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with black beans or grilled vegetables. You can also use corn tortillas for a different texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
