  • 8 ounces Mushrooms (cremini or baby bella preferred) Choose fresh for better flavor.
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh garlic is recommended for best flavor.

Cooking Essentials

  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil or butter Use a combination for rich flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper Freshly ground preferred.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice For brightness.

Optional Toppings

Cooking

  • Heat your skillet over medium heat and add olive oil or butter.
  • Add mushrooms first with a pinch of salt, cooking until they start to brown and shrink.
  • Add the cauliflower florets, stirring briefly then let them sit to get golden edges.
  • Add minced garlic towards the end of cooking to prevent burning.
  • Finish with a squeeze of lemon, black pepper, and optional cheese.

Notes

Great for meal prep, and keeps well for 3 to 4 days in the fridge. Reheat in a skillet for best texture.
