Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or your choice) Any pasta can be used, but fettuccine is recommended.
  • 1 cup burrata cheese High-quality burrata is preferred for best flavor.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream Can be substituted with half-and-half or non-dairy milk for a lighter option.
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh basil

Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Making the Sauce

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and combined.
  • Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet and mix well with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Remove from heat and add the burrata cheese, gently breaking it apart to mix with the pasta.

Serving

  • Serve warm, garnished with fresh basil.

Notes

Pairs beautifully with a light salad and a glass of white wine. For extra flavor, sprinkle Parmesan cheese or red pepper flakes on top before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within 2-3 days. Reheat gently with a splash of cream or water.
