Ingredients
  

Dough and Base

  • 1 Store-bought or homemade pizza dough
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil For greasing the skillet
  • ½ cup Pizza sauce Or as desired

Toppings

  • 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese Can substitute with other cheeses
  • 1 cup Pepperoni Or other protein options
  • 1 cup Bell peppers Sliced, for added flavor
  • 1 cup Onions Sliced, for texture
  • 1 cup Mushrooms Sliced; can use canned or fresh
  • to taste Any additional toppings Customize as you like!

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your cast iron skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil.
  • Roll out the pizza dough to fit the skillet size and place it in the skillet, pressing it up the sides slightly.
  • Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the dough.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
  • Add your desired toppings.

Cooking

  • Cook on the stove for about 5-7 minutes until the bottom is crispy.
  • Transfer the skillet to the oven preheated to 450°F (232°C) and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Remove from oven, let cool slightly, slice, and serve.

Notes

To store leftover pizza, wrap individual slices or the entire pizza in plastic wrap or aluminum foil and place it in the refrigerator. It can be stored for up to 3-4 days.
