  • 1 cup Irish cream
  • 2 cups Whipped cream
  • ¼ cup Mint leaves for garnish
  • ¼ cup Chocolate shavings or sprinkles

Instructions

Preparation

  • Prepare the fudgy brownies according to package instructions or your favorite recipe. Let them cool.

Assembly

  • In a trifle bowl or glass dish, layer pieces of brownie, followed by a layer of Irish cream and then a layer of whipped cream.
  • Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the dish.
  • Finish off with a layer of whipped cream, and top with mint leaves and chocolate shavings or sprinkles.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

Serve chilled, either on its own or with vanilla ice cream. Drizzle extra Irish cream over the top just before serving. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days, best enjoyed within the first couple of days. Use homemade brownies for more flavor and let them cool completely before layering to prevent melting the whipped cream.
